The Bhopal Police decided on Saturday to question controversial Godman Nirmal Baba in a fraud case.
Nirmaljeet Singh Narula, famous as Nirmal Baba, allegedly lured youth with job promises.
On Friday, Habibganj resident Rajesh Sen had filed a complaint with the police in the case.
Rajesh, who was unemployed when he met Nirmal alleged that at a 'Samagam' (meeting of disciples), Nirmal Baba advised him to carry a black-coloured wallet with him to get a decent job. He tried but could not get the desired result.
Superintendent of Police Rajesh Singh Bhadoria said Rajesh Sen is a resident of E-7, Arera Colony. Bhadoria said that Nirmal Baba will be questioned by the police in this regard.
A couple from Ludhiana had earlier alleged that Nirmal Baba has cheated and duped them. Inderjeet Anand and Poonam who were reeling from a financial loss were told by Nirmal Baba’s trust to encash a Rs 1 crore cheque of which Rs 5 lakhs would go to this very couple as commission. However, the bank was not convinced with the money transfer into their account and later on took action against it. A FIR has been filed against the fraud in the Ludhiana.
Nirmal Baba has been recently exposed with Rs 235 crore fraud.
